Battersea park public space project

We were instructed by a private developer to deliver a ‘turn key package’ from their architects plans. The project was to re-landscape a public space which had walkways, planting, parking spaces, cycle hire and bin storage. As part of the project we had to include utilities and soil surveys, structural engineering and tree protection.

The project was carefully planned to be executed on time and budget. We has to allow public and residents to pass through the space during the project and minimise impact to the local area during the works. We had to protect and carefully restore some of the old features of the space.

We are planning to enter this project into the next BALI awards.

Holland Park private landscaping project

This project was based on an architects design from the client. We were asked to make design changes and construct the garden.

The client was actively involved in the design process which developed as the project progressed. All the original trees were kept and the garden designed around them.

This garden features Millboard composite decking, reinforced Onyx stone paths, cottage garden planting, irrigation and lighting.

St Albans landscape

This job was delivered quickly at short notice to a high quality. Due to special circumstance with an existing client we had to design and build the garden in just a few weeks. We instructed a wonderful landscape architect who very kindly produced plans within days.

Having assessed the site conditions we set about turning a dusty building site into a rich garden. There was challenging soil condition to handle and large level changes but by calling on our network of reliable and professional suppliers we got the garden ready on time and budget.

Battersea Grounds Maintenance

Our team were brought in to rescue a recent development landscaping package that was failing to deliver, due to bad practice. Sterling had to rectify the current planting scheme, by improving soil conditions and adding an irrigation system.

Since we’ve been managing the gardens many improvements have been made. Here you can see a hardwood pergola and new permeable paved entranceway.

The gardens continue to grow and flourish, which is a reassuring testament to the hard work performed by our gardeners as part of our landscaping maintenance – a vital service that is all too often overlooked.
